Do the website pictures match with the real rental boats?

All the boats pictures are real and owned by THE RIDE and its partners companies.

How do I rent a boat?

You can rent a car by simply clicking on the Reservation button, by calling +34 971 072 061 or by email on info@therideibiza.com.
If you choose to reserve a car online, we will contact you to confirm your reservation.

Which boat is best for us?

It will depend on how many people are in your group. Our staff will explain the merits of each boat. Have a think about your budget and what you’d like to do with your day out on the water and we will match you to the best boat available.

The boat we like is too small for our group, what can we do?

We can organize a tandem rental. For example, one of our sports boats can accompany your primary charter boat carrying up to 6 extra passengers. The two boats stay together at all times, but when you reach your destination you have the option of both.

How is the cost of fuel calculated?

There are two ways we calculate fuel costs.
1. Our estimates are based on set routes and therefore will be the same each time.
2. By calculating the number of hours the engines were running and how much fuel they burn per hour, using a meter.

How far in advance should I book my boat rental?

It gets super busy so book as far in advance as you can so you have more chance of getting the dates and boats you want.

What kind of card can I use to pay the rental?

Debit cards are accepted for the web booking, but is mandatory to present a credit card of the same holder to pay the corresponding deposits at the moment of the charter service start. We apply a payment block on the card, refundable.

Can I pay with AMEX?

Yes, we have official agreement with AMEX.
Don’t worry, we take care of the commission.

Where does the charter start/check-in?

We start the charters at Marina Ibiza’s Port moorages. If you wish to start at other location, contact us to request it.

Can I change the boat after the reservation?

Yes. If you would like to change or cancel your reservation of a car after approving it, please call
+34 971 072 061or request it by contacts provided in the Contact page.

Where will we go on our charter?

There are so many options. Our staff can help figure out a plan for your day out on the water. Many clients choose to go to Formentera via the island of Es Palmador, which is only accessible by boat. Discuss your needs with our staff and your skipper to work out the best places to go, ensuring that the wind and sea conditions are favourable at your preferred destinations.

What is included in the price of the boat rental?

This varies from boat to boat, so make sure to read the descriptions thoroughly and ask us before booking so we can reassure you.

Which deposits do I have to pay?

It is mandatory to pay the fuel tank deposit.
It is partially refundable depending on the fuel consumption.

Can we make special requests or get catering?

Absolutely, talk to us about what you’d like to do and we’ll help you with any special events and catering.

What time does the charter start?

We normally recommend departing between 11:00 and 13:00 to get the most out of your charter, but it’s entirely up to you!

Our charters are 8 hours.

What if our charter can’t go ahead due to bad weather?

It’s very rare to get bad weather days in the summer in Ibiza. However, nature works in mysterious ways. If your charter needs to be cancelled due to bad weather we would do our best to reschedule. If that is not possible you will receive a refund.
